The Losev Historical and Art Museum began functioning in 1972. Of considerable interest is a small art gallery, which contains paintings by the painter Alexei Petrovich Zarubin and the graphic artist Leonid Fedorovich Ovsyannikov.
The
museum has a furniture set, sheet music, books, and personal belongings belonging to composer Nina Vladimirovna Makarova, donated by Makarova's husband Aram Ilyich Khachaturian. Of great interest to tourists are the collection of things from the Sheremetev family - old photographs of the Sheremetev family, furniture, statues, household items. The fortress estate of the Yurinsky Castle is turning into a historical and architectural reserve of castle architecture. The palace, the park with slender curly birches and pine forest, with ponds and a swimming pool, the beach and the boat station attract many tourists and vacationers here.
