Rock Festival "A Star named the Sun"
On August 15, 2026, Viktor Tsoi's songs will be played again at the Zvezdny Cultural and Leisure Center in Volzhsk. The site in front of the CCID will turn into an open rock stage of the "A Star named the Sun" festival.

This rock festival is dedicated to the man who started many people's passion for music: Viktor Tsoi, the songwriter, poet and founder of the Kino group. Those who once copied chords into school notebooks, and those who are just now discovering his songs, gather here.
The festival program includes live performances by rock bands from the city and the region, cover versions of the most famous compositions and original readings of Tsoi's music. "A Star named the Sun", "Pack of Cigarettes", "Cuckoo", "Blood Type" and other songs will be performed on one stage, which are still easily picked up by the whole hall.
"A star named the Sun" is not only a memorial concert, but also a platform for inspiring modern youth. The festival unites fans of Russian rock, gives novice musicians the opportunity to go on stage and feel how they are supported by a live audience.
