Yoshkar-Ola Walking Tour (6+)

The first acquaintance with the city is through its embankments, squares, architecture and history. During the walk you will see the most recognizable and atmospheric places of Yoshkar-Ola, hear about the past and present of the city and feel its special rhythm – calm, unusual and a little fabulous.

Thematic tour "From Yoshkar-Ola to Tsarevokokshaysk" (6+)

Time travel – from modern Yoshkar-Ola to its historical origins. During the walk, we will trace how the city has changed over the centuries: from the small county town of Tsarevokokshaysk to the modern capital of the Republic of Mari El.

In the evening, Yoshkar-Ola opens up especially beautifully. During a walk along the Bruges embankment, we will talk about the history of its appearance, architectural images and unusual details of buildings, and the tour will end with a viewing of the dynamic sculptural composition "The Entry of the Lord into Jerusalem."

A leisurely walk through the historical center of old Tsarevokokshaysk. How did the fortress city appear? Who lived here a few centuries ago? What were the streets, houses, and daily life of the county town like? The tour will be the first step towards getting to know the history of Yoshkar-Ola.

A walk through the historical center of Tsarevokokshaysk with an attempt to see the vanished city. With the help of archival photographs and stories, we will restore the appearance of old streets, houses and squares that no longer exist on the modern map of Yoshkar-Ola.

A journey through Yoshkar-Ola through tastes, traditions and gastronomic stories. During the walk, we will talk about what was served in Tsarevokokshaysk, which dishes are considered symbols of the Mari cuisine and how the food reflects the character and culture of the people. The combined tour with the completed set is 800 rubles per person for 1 hour of the tour.
