Lake Zryv (Tabashinskoe) is included in the list of the deepest lakes in Russia. Its maximum depth is 55 m. The lake has an oblong shape, its width ranges from 260 to 400 m, its length is 800 m, and its area is 26.2 hectares.
In 1974, Lake Zryv was recognized as a natural monument. A natural monument, it has regional significance as the unique and most beautiful not only in the republic, but also in the Middle Volga region. The reservoir and vegetation in the protected area of the lake are subject to protection. The lake is home to pike, perch, bream, crucian carp, tench, burbot, roach, bleak, and crayfish. The lake is flowing with clear waters, and the Pyzhanka River runs along it.

village and the ancient Flora and Lavra Church are located on the southwestern shore.
