On June 6, 2026, the village of Chuvash-Otary, Zvenigovsky district, invites everyone to the Chuvash national holiday Akatui!
Akatui is one of the main holidays of the Chuvash people, which is traditionally celebrated after the completion of spring field work. This is a day of gratitude to the earth and people, a day of songs, dances and good communication.
As in previous years, a rich program awaits the guests:
- concert program with the participation of creative groups of Zvenigovsky district and guests from the Chuvash Republic;
- sports games and competitions;
- interactive platforms and bright photo zones; a
- traditional Chuvash farmstead;
- field kitchen with national dishes.
There will be a warm, almost family atmosphere all day, in which everyone will find something to do: someone will sing with the artists, someone will try themselves at the national games, and someone will just enjoy the taste of homemade food and socializing.
