Klenovaya Gora Sanatorium – where nature heals and legends come to life
The Klenovaya Gora Sanatorium is located in the heart of the Mari Chodra National Park, where the Mari taiga keeps its centuries–old secrets. The sanatorium is located at a picturesque altitude of 196 meters above sea level, on the banks of the Ilet River. Yoshkar-Ola is 80 km away, Cheboksary is 85 km away, and Kazan is 95 km away. The eight-storey building towers over a sea of coniferous and deciduous forests, and the balconies of the upper floors offer breathtaking panoramas for many kilometers around.
Natural treasures
The Green Key mineral spring is the main jewel of these places. Every second, 100 liters of healing water come from the bowels of the earth! It was she who formed the basis of the famous brands of mineral water "Klenovaya Gora" and "Zeleny Klyuch", and is also actively used in the sanatorium's treatment programs.

Take a walk along the old Kazan road to the legendary Pugachev oak, a giant that is more than 500 years old! According to legend, it was under its shadow that Yemelyan Pugachev stayed for the night before his last campaign against Kazan in 1774. The diameter of the trunk of this giant is 159 centimeters!
