The IV Yoshka Yosh Gastronomic Festival brought together 13 regions of Russia

The IV Yoshka Yosh Gastronomic Festival has come to an end in the Republic of Mari El. This year it brought together participants from 13 regions of Russia, 27 restaurateurs and more than 200 chefs. The guests of the festival were presented with about 300 dishes of Russian and national cuisines.

During the Yoshka Yesh, more than 40 thousand servings of dishes and drinks were sold. The festival also attracted over 3,300 tourist visits from different regions of the country.

One of the main events of the festival was the establishment of two gastronomic records registered in the register of the "Heritage of Russia":

• 150 kilograms of Mari sausage "sokta";
• 273 servings of the national dish "tuara".

Famous chefs Vasily Emelianenkoand Ilya Lazerson, as well as restaurant critic Oleg Nazarov, became guests of honor at Yoshka Yosh.

The festival was led by Ekaterina Shapovalova, founder of the federal project "Gastronomic Map of Russia".

Yoshka Yesh has once again become a venue where the gastronomic traditions of different peoples of Russia, modern restaurant culture and national cuisine of the Republic of Mari El met. The festival introduced guests to regional dishes and products and once again showed that gastronomy can be a separate reason for traveling around Mari El.
