Mari El's tourism potential was showcased in Moscow.

At the expanded meeting of the State Council Commission on Tourism, held as part of the "Let's Travel!" forum in Moscow, the participants discussed the digitalization of the industry, the expansion of visa-free tourism, and the simplification of border procedures.

Oleg Kozhemyako, the Governor of Primorsky Krai, emphasized the need to create user-friendly mobile applications for tourists.

A delegation from the Republic of Mari El also took part in the forum, showcasing its tourism potential at booth No. 35. The republic demonstrated its national traditions, including master classes on making traditional koman melna pancakes, and presented its best tourist routes.

The event, organized under the "Tourism and Hospitality" national project, brought together 5,000 participants.
