Three times a day, a mechanical performance called "The 12 Apostles" takes place on the balcony of one of the buildings. To the chime of the clock on the Annunciation Tower, a figure of Jesus Christ emerges, followed by his apostles, and then the entire procession disappears behind a carved door.

Dense woodlands alternate with marshes and meadows. The curly crowns of pine trees give way to the dark green pyramids of spruces, which then shift to bright islands of birch trees. This region is aptly called the Forested Trans-Volga (Lesnoye Zavolzhye).
9. "Karman-Kuryk" Mountain
The sacred Mari mountain, Karman-Kuryk, is a geological natural monument of regional significance located in the Morkinsky District.
