Workshop with a delegation from Southeast Asia

Today, a working meeting was held in the Republic of Mari El with a delegation from Southeast Asia and representatives of the Malaysian tourism community. The guests arrived in the region to strengthen international relations and develop inbound tourism.

The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Mari El tourism industry. The participants presented their unique travel products, exchanged experiences and discussed prospects for cooperation. The Republic of Mari El was presented as an original and promising destination capable of attracting travelers from distant countries.

The main results of the meeting:

• direct professional contacts with foreign tour operators have been established;


• the foundation has been laid for the creation of joint tourist routes;


• The possibilities of increasing the tourist flow from Southeast Asian countries were discussed.

The meeting was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere. The participants showed a sincere interest in the culture, traditions and natural wealth of Mari El.
