Acceptance of applications for the "Leader of Tourism of the Republic of Mari El" contest
Applications for the republican contest "Leader of Tourism of the Republic of Mari El" in 2026 are open. Experts, organizations and authors of projects that develop tourism and introduce travelers to the republic are invited to participate.
The competition is organized by the Ministry of Industry, Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Mari El with the assistance of the Agency for Tourism Development of the Republic of Mari El.
Applications are accepted from October 16, 2026, 08:30, to November 17, 2026, 17:30.
Who can participate
- Citizens of the Russian Federation over the age of 18.
- Organizations working in the field of tourism and registered in the territory of the Republic of Mari El.
- Administrations of municipalities of the Republic of Mari El.
- Public organizations.
- Mass media.
The participant can choose one or more nominations.

- best tour guide of 2026 in the Republic of Mari El. The
- best tourist souvenir of 2026 in the Republic of Mari El.
- Person of 2026 — for his personal contribution to the development of tourism in the Republic of Mari El. The
- best journalist or blogger of 2026, covering the field of tourism in the Republic of Mari El. The
- best tourist (excursion) route of 2026 in the Republic of Mari El.
How to apply
Fill out the application form and prepare the competition documentation for the selected nomination. The terms, conditions of participation, evaluation criteria and forms of documents are available at the link.
- Submit the paper set in person or by mail to the Agency for Tourism Development of the Republic of Mari El: 424001, Republic of Mari El, Yoshkar-Ola, Uspenskaya str., 38, office 302.
- Attach electronic materials on a flash drive and an inventory of the submitted files indicating their technical characteristics. At the request of the participant, after copying the materials, the drive is returned.
- For individuals: Please attach your consent to the processing of personal data.
- Additionally, duplicate the application form and the tender documentation to mari-tourism@mail.ru. In the subject of the letter, specify: "Leader of tourism of the Republic of Mari El".
