The national brand of the Republic of Mari El is Sernur Legend cheese

"Sernur legend" is one of the most successful in-house developments of the Sernur Cheese Factory, which has no analogues. It was created back in 2002 and has been improved over the years. The cheese has a rich milky taste as a result of pasteurization of cow's milk. The weight of the head is only 1 kg, which allows it to mature evenly for 30 days. And thanks to the wax coating, the cheese retains the necessary moisture and acquires a special taste: delicate milky and slightly salty.

In 2019, Sernur Legend cheese received the status of a National Brand of the Republic of Mari El.
