Mari El presents tourism potential at the Travel Forum in Moscow
From June 10 to June 14, the Republic of Mari El participates in the International Tourism Forum "Travel", which takes place at the VDNH in Moscow. The delegation of the region introduces guests and representatives of the tourism industry to the possibilities of recreation, cultural and gastronomic tourism in the republic.
On
June 12, in the "House of Russian Cuisine" space, the Mari El team will hold a master class on cooking traditional Mari pancakes koman melna. Guests will be able to get acquainted with the national cuisine and learn more about the culture and traditions of the Mari people.
As part of the business program, it is planned to sign cooperation agreements with representatives of the tourism industry in other regions aimed at developing interregional routes and promoting the tourism potential of the republic.
At Mari El stand No. 35, visitors will receive presentations of tourist routes, travel advice, tastings of national dishes, workshops on folk crafts and a photo zone in national costumes.
Participation in the forum is part of efforts to promote the Mari El tourism brand at the federal level and attract new visitors to the region.
