Mari El receives a delegation from Malaysia

A delegation of representatives of the tourism business from Malaysia is visiting the Republic of Mari El as part of the national project "Tourism and Hospitality". The visit is aimed at developing international cooperation and familiarizing foreign partners with the tourism potential of the region.

For Mari El, this is an opportunity to:

• to present the republic as an original destination for inbound tourism;


• establish professional contacts with foreign tour operators;


• to discuss the creation of joint tourist routes and programs;


• expand the prospects of attracting tourists from Southeast Asian countries.

As part of the study tour, a business meeting will be held with the participation of:

• Vladimir Khalyuzin, Minister of Industry, Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Mari El;


• representatives of the Malaysian tourism community;


• representatives of the tourism industry of the Republic of Mari El.

The participants will discuss the prospects for international cooperation, the development of tourism ties and the possibilities of promoting the region in foreign markets.
